Our Big Scare

We had a really big scare yesterday afternoon. After eating dinner I went to the restroom and was bleeding. Johnny kept Devin at the house and I went to the hospital. My mom met me out there and they took me up to L&D, after forcing me to answer a million and one questions at registration. Once I was in L&D the nurses found my little one's heartbeat to reassure me she was good. They did a few exams and by the time all this occured the bleeding was just spotting. While they waited for my lab results they kept the heartbeat moniter on the baby and monitered me for contractions. The entire time she kept trying to kick the monitor off of my belly and was moving around like crazy. Thankfully all was well with the baby and I was just slightly dehydrated and exhausted. So plenty of juice and get some rest were the doctors orders.

Oh on a lighter note when I got home from the hospital Devin came running and hugged me. He then went on to ask if I went to the doctor and was I okay. I told him yes mommy went to the doctor and I'm okay. He then asked where the baby was and I put my hand on my belly and told him the baby was in mommy's tummy. He hugged me and put his face to my tummy and said hey Devin's baby and then looked at me and said good job mommy.

This morning the first thing he did when he got up was come into my room put his face to my tummy and gave my tummy a kiss and said good morning baby.

I didn't think he even had a clue what was going on.
