One Long Weekend

Well our weekend turned out to be a very long one.
On Saturday all seemed well until around noon. I began vomiting almost non stop. After a couple of hours I gave up and went to the hospital. They immediately took me to L&D to try and figure out what was wrong. I guess with the upcoming storm everyone was preoccupied because all they did was put an iv in my hand and run 2 bags of fluids through me. I was informed I had a stomach virus and they called in so Finnegan to my pharmacy for me. I was to go home take the Finnegan every 4 hours and drink plenty of liquids. I thought this was odd because even with the Finnegan they were giving me and all the liquids I was vomiting the entire time I was there. Nothing was helping. Oh and I was in extreme pain. But the nurse claimed it to simply be a stomach virus that had to run it's course and round ligament pain. So I went home.
That night I took the Finnegan every 4 hours only to vomit it up 5 minutes later. Nothing I drank stayed down and by 5 am Sunday morning I had vomited so much that I had the shakes. Johnny stayed home with Devin and my mom took me back to the hospital.
Once back at the hospital they couldn't decide what to do with me, send me to l&d or keep me in the er. Oh and I was still in the system as never being discharged, cute huh. After about an hour and a 10,000 questions they sent me up to l&d. In l&d they went directly for the other hand only to infiltrate the vein and have to put the iv in the side of my wrist. Hooked me up to fluids and gave me some Zoloft. I had all the wonderful checks for dilation and then a "lovely" catheter. After being there an hour the nurse kept saying she's hasn't puked once since she has been her, no really I haven't had anything to eat or drink!! I was in horrible pain and the monitor was showing mild contractions. My doctor finally got there and checked me up. After examining my back and my stomach for where the pain was coming from he concluded that I had a kidney infection.
I was admitted to the hospital and put on iv antibiotics for 48 hours.
