Our weekend was pretty laid back. We didn't do much of anything with all the rain. I did manage to rack up on some good savings though. Johnny, Devin, and I met some friends at Dirt Cheap in Lucedale Friday night for a little bargain hunting and to go out to eat. I managed to find Heaven a Hannah Montana digital camera, that actually works, for $12 and Devin a Little Tykes grow with me basketball goal, with all the pieces, for $12. I was shocked to actually find something worth getting there. Unfortunately our friends had a family emergency and we wound up cutting our evening out short, but it turned out to be one of those welcome emergencies for them.
Saturday we finalized our paperwork with the mortage company and that night Devin spent a couple hours with Nanny and Pawpaw. Devin went to WalMart with Nanny and Pawpaw and managed to come out of there with a new Thomas the Train toy. He loves anything to do with choo choos. He had a blast. That night and part of the next day it was Nanny, Nanny, Nanny with a few Pawpaw's thrown in there!
Sunday was rainy and kind of lazy. Nothing much happened except a big turtle decided to lay eggs in our front yard. Devin was excited and wanted to get his hands on the turtle. He sat in the window watching that thing for nearly an hour! The neighbor's cats wouldn't leave the turtle alone and Johnny kept having to run them off. I'm not sure if the turtle ever actually laid any eggs, but it got tired of the cats and I'm sure tired of Devin hollering at it and decided to leave.
